Shannon and team built a roof to cover my 400 sq foot patio. From the initial meeting to finalize design, pre-construction, construction, and final details the entire team was phenomenal. He was even a bike to help me with recommendations for new gutters and saved me a lot of money. The quality of work was outstanding and the price was competitive. I would recommend him for any of your house remodeling projects and I would use him again for our next project.
I HIGHLY recommend Shannon and his crew. They finished a bathroom and laundry room for us last month and we are extremely satisfied with the entire process (which if you’ve ever remodeled before you know how rare that is!). Shannon is excellent at communication, often responding within minutes of a text. He has a great attention to detail, competitively priced, and his work is first rate. You can tell how focused he is on his client’s happiness. All of his subs were great too (thank you to the Brandons!). Shannon does much bigger jobs than ours, but he made us feel that our project was his top priority. Most of all, he’s a very nice person.

Shannon and his team are meticulous with each and every detail, ensuring only the best results with our recent bathroom remodel. Shannon added some finishing touches that I had not even thought about that really upgraded the look of what my husband and I originally picked out. Not only was the work top of the line, but I really appreciated how Shannon took his time to explain different aspects of the remodel, was extremely prompt with his responses, was flexible with our household schedule, provided a trustworthy crew, and left the house as clean as they found it when finishing the project. I am so impressed with how our remodel turned out and cannot wait to use them again for our kitchen!

I have hired Shannon multiple times (I think 5 so far) for construction projects around our home. I feel comfortable leaving our key with him and love coming home to see another step of our project complete. His work has always been done to perfection and looks amazing! Shannon at Higgason Construction laid tile flooring in my guest and master bathrooms. I will be recommending him highly to my family and friends! I will be using Higgason Construction again when I remodel the rest of my kitchen. My tile floors look incredible, the work was done quickly and he was a pleasure to communicate with along the way. The results are fantastic, my girlfriend and I are so pleased. Shannon also kept a very clean work space within my home, which I greatly appreciated!
We had Shannon and his crew perform a full kitchen renovation on our late 80’s built house. The old kitchen was dark, cramped, and not very functional – shown in the “before” pictures. Shannon advised on all aspects of the design and construction of our new kitchen – including cabinetry, tile, and as you can see, they completely transformed the space into a modern, usable, and beautiful kitchen. Over the course of the project we were constantly impressed with the attention to detail and desire to finish everything as close to perfection as possible. Any time an issue or problem cropped up, Shannon had excellent advice and recommendations for a solution – for example, the original shelves for the subway tile wall provided by the cabinet maker were of fairly poor quality and couldn’t be used, so Shannon went out and procured a new slab of wood with a live edge and built the beautiful shelves you see in the pictures. Shannon is a rarity among contractors in that he is very communicative – he never failed to pick up the phone, and even better, proactively call us to let us know what was going on. If an issue cropped up and we needed Shannon’s advice he would get over to take a look as quickly as he could. Shannon is a great listener and a great communicator, which is extraordinarily helpful when trying to make design decisions. The thing we really appreciated most about Shannon is his refusal to cut corners or take half measures just to get something done, he always did things the right way. His crew is very friendly and have a great attitude and it was a pleasure to have them in our home. Shannon and crew are going to begin work on our bathroom shortly and we plan on having him work on our house until it’s completely remodeled. We’ll add more pictures as our house is transformed into our dream home. Thanks to Shannon and crew!
We could not be more thrilled with our new home! Shannon and his crew rebuilt our main floor from the ground up! We had been living with our 1979 split level home for 12 years before deciding to take on a major kitchen and great room renovation. The project eventually extended into six separate areas of our home, including our kitchen, dining & living room spaces as well as the adjacent entry, office and two bathrooms. Shannon worked through each step of this mammoth project with us, helping us find ways to reduce costs and stay within our budget without sacrificing our vision for the space. Shannon’s skill and expertise with everything from framing and support to finish work were incredible. With a project of that scope and scale, hiccups & setbacks inevitably will occur. Shannon was a great problem solver and worked collaboratively with us to see each issue through to resolution. We felt fortunate to build a relationship with him along the way filled with trust and respect. Our home looks more beautiful than we could have imagined. Shannon Higgason and his crew are awesome! They remodeled our 1,000 square foot basement–bedrooms, laundry area, stairs, and bathroom–from the studs up, and he did an excellent job. Initially we hired him only for the framing, but he did such an exceptional job we hired him to complete the majority of the remodel. He completed the framing, some of the plumbing, quite a bit of concrete work, drywall, and trim. He is very knowledgeable about so many aspects of construction, and completes work to perfection. I can’t believe how beautiful the tilework is in our new bathroom! Even the aspects of the remodel that he didn’t complete–the electrical and whole house re-plumb–he was able to give excellent advice and guidance on, so that we were able to make informed decisions about these phases of the project. Just as importantly, Shannon is friendly, trustworthy, and patient. He answered every question and addressed every concern with complete patience and professionalism (and I am a customer that requires patience). Shannon wanted us to be completely happy with our new basement and was always willing to tweak or re-work an area if we weren’t completely happy. I absolutely love our new basement, and I am secure in the knowledge that the construction was done right and well.

He removed a supporting wall from our ground floor to open up the space; replacing all the walls, flooring and windows in the new room. His attention to detail really sets him apart from other people I’ve used for past projects. There were a number of custom finishing touches that we added to the space that really helped step it up to the next level.
The crew were all polite, considerate, trustworthy and friendly. They ensured the build site was kept clean throughout.
We’ll definitely be looking to work with Shannon again after our experience.
If you are looking for someone for your project with an exacting eye for detail and who takes pride in what they do, we would highly recommend Higgason Construction. Shannon Higgason did a total Master Bathroom and Master Bedroom remodel for us. He stripped the existing room configurations down to the studs. The existing bathroom layout was completely reconfigured with a walk-in shower, a challenging floor and wall tile layout, floating double vanity, additional built-in storage cabinets, a new exterior window, new interior doors, and with all new bathroom fixtures and lighting. The bedroom required relocating and replacing two exterior windows, relocating the closet and adding another by utilizing some wasted square footage from the bathroom. All doors, hardware and lighting were relocated and updated. He also installed a custom Shoji screen style closet door system that required work in the attic space above to provide additional support framing. Shannon’s attention to detail and precision stands out. The tile work was excellent, the woodwork and overall finish quality came out just as we had hoped. This was not a simple project, but Shannon worked with us and helped tweak our design, when necessary, to achieve the finish product we were looking for and helped us make the best use of the square footage available. Any problems that arose were dealt with very professionally. He is an excellent problem solver and we incorporated a good number of his ideas. The most important thing he brought to the project was integrity. He did what he said he would do. He responded VERY quickly to any phone calls or questions texted to him. We always felt that he wanted to make sure that our expectations were being met and that we were happy with the results. We definitely are!
